Toshio Suzuki Steps Down as Producer at Ghibli Studios

Toshio Suzuki will step down as his role as producer and take on the role of general manager at Studio Ghibli.  Yoshiaki Nishimura will become his successor.  He accepted the Japan Academy Prize for Best Animated Feature Film this past Friday for Hayao Miyazaki’s film The Wind Rises.  Toshio Suzuki has co-founded Studio Ghibli with directors Hayao Miyazaki and Isao Takahata during its creating in 1985.  For more information, check out the link below and please leave your comments.
